Muslin Nature Series ‘23

Muslin Nature Series ‘23 is a deepening layer of experimentation and exploration within my art practice. Using acrylics and calico textile, each piece was satisfyingly tactile to create resulting in an incredible texture and an almost sculptural bent upon completion. Part allowing materials to find their natural state given new parameters and space, part intention - this series pushed my practice beyond the traditional. These pieces hold an intricacy of pattern, an abstraction of thought and image, as well as an embodied yet elemental approach to their creation.
