Introducing Petal Pedagogy, a series exploring opacity in both physical and metaphoric form.

Opacity, at its essence, is the reduction of the passage of light. Pedagogy, the art of teaching. This series denotes the interface of both fluid translucence and bordered density, ecology and the human species. Are we capable of looking outside of ourselves to learn the depth of nature’s wisdom? Will we be informed only by what we perceive as our own intellectualism and imposed systems or will we look to the natural teaching that has existed for hundreds of thousands of years under our very noses?

Will we allow this passage of light? Or will we deny it?
